ABOUT ME

I Illustrate life, sometimes it's an international city and sometimes the local shop.  It has become my passion since starting my business over 14 years ago, when I changed career as a buyer at The Conran Shop.  My style originates from the skills I gained on my textile design degree at Manchester Metropolitan University; the colour study, drawing and teaching that encouraged you to find inspiration in the world around you. I take great pleasure in finding small details to include in the paintings, that make people smile and capture a 'moment in time' that will bring back memories.  My initial paintings were of house portraits for friends and family, this grew into painting the where I live.

Based in Thames Ditton, Surrey, I have gained a reputation for painting the local area, producing prints and products.  When I out selling, customers often recite stories of my tea towels being given to friends in cities all the over the world.   As my business has grown, I have worked with prestigious international companies, charities and local retailers on a variety of design projects.  Recent commissions include a bag design for a Jumeirah Hotels press event and a tea towel design to promote Banstead village life for florist Mad Lilies.
