This print depicts life in Wengen, in the Swiss Alps. It is a unique place, that sits half way up a mountain and as such is  only accessible by train. The illustration shows Wengen, during the summer months, when the houses have bright gardens, and visitors and locals are busy walking, cycling and taking in the landscape.
